Bio

Sebastian is a Louisiana-born composer and artistic collaborator who creates music from studios in New Orleans and France.

He has worked with artists from the worlds of hip-hop, R&B, EDM, classical music, folk musicians from around the world, pop, rock, punk, country, metal, theater, dance and film.

Sebastian went to music high schools for three years before going to the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music with the goals of getting a PhD and teaching music composition and theory at the university level.

During his first year in school he realized the debt required to do that didn’t make sense, so he moved to Los Angeles and enjoyed a career as a multi-instrumentalist, performing and touring with groups from theater pit orchestras to artists with nice buses.

After time on the road Sebastian moved back to Louisiana, and then to Paris. In Paris he founded and ran a social-solidarity project to unite communities through celebration, food and parading. The first event was a massive New Orleans-style parade through Central London, and Sebastian was asked to arrange the music for the marching bands.

This led to his first commission to write music for a Parisian burlesque circus troupe. After two decades without writing music he began to write a symphony, followed by pieces for mixed ensembles, soloists, studio recordings and performance artists. 

Sebastian loves collaboration and is currently working on projects with artists in Europe and the US.
